While not technically a food, water is vital to skin health. The average person should consume at least 8 glasses of water a day. If you struggle with acne it should be even more. Raw fruit also has a high natural water content that can help keep you hydrated between meals and in between glasses of water. Berries also contain skin protecting phytochemicals.
