DIY lip scrub

To make your own lip scrub, simply use sugar and coconut oil. Mix the sugar and coconut oil together and you’ll have a tasty and natural lip scrub to treat dry and chapped lips. Scrub gently over your lips and they’ll feel much softer and smoother after use.

DIY yoghurt face scrub

For an exfoliating homemade scrub, simply mix brown sugar into a pot of yoghurt and stir well. Add some manuka honey into the pot and mix together all the ingredients. Apply the scrub to your face and massage gently. Leave for five minutes and rinse off thoroughly. The result is smooth, radiant and healthier looking skin.

DIY apple cider toner

For a refreshing toner, mix water, a little apple cider vinegar and a crushed aspirin together. Pop the mixture into a plastic bottle or spray bottle and add a little to a cotton pad. Swipe over your entire face when you need a toning treatment and your skin will appear much brighter, softer and smoother.

DIY clay mask

If you suffer from oily skin or blemishes then try this simple clay mask recipe for balanced, clear skin. Simply mix a tablespoon of bentonite clay with a tablespoon of oats and 1 tablespoon of water. Add 4 drops of tea tree essential oil and mix together. Place all over the face for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off thoroughly. Another alternative is to mix a tablespoon of bentonite clay with a tablespoon of yoghurt and mix well. Apply to the face and rinse off after 10 minutes. Yogurt helps to tighten pores and fight off spot causing bacteria, so it’s ideal for oily or blemish prone skin types.
